Canny drinkers planning their Bank Holiday purchases may like to see the following details I have just received from Sainsbury’s.

Sainsbury’s is offering 25% off when customers buy 6 or more bottles of wine in store and online, valid between Friday 18 August and Tuesday 29 August 2017. The offer is valid on all wine, champagne, sparkling wine, sherry and port and includes wines already on promotion. The deal excludes Scotland and Convenience stores.

Sainsbury’s suggests four wines that you could use with this promotion:
- Taste the Difference Cremant de Loire NV – already down from £11 to £9 but potentially dropping to £6.75 under this offer.
- 2016 Mirabeau Etoile Rosé – already down from £16 to £14.25 potentially dropping to £10.69 under this offer.
- Changyu Noble Dragon Riesling – already down from £9.50 to £8.50 potentially dropping to £6.38 under this offer.
- 2016 Taste the Difference Pinot Grigio Trentino – already down from £7 to £6 but potentially dropping to £4.50 under this offer.
